Dear Sir
I am writing about the sixth month jail sentence handed down to Mr Bennett for getting caught doing 122 mph. How stupid was the sentence and a waste of taxpayers money sending Mr Bennett to jail. I do think Mr Bennett was stupid doing that speed on a wet road with oncoming traffic also him having a pillion passenger not wearing proper motorcycling clothing.
Mr Bennett only crime was he broke the speed limit. I do feel the Judge was equally as stupid; the judge handing down a custodial sentence. How the courts can let convicted criminals escape a jail sentence. We have thousands of convicted criminals that have caused actual body to others waking about free. I believe the Judge made reference to the fact that, had the motorcycle had a blowout he would have lost control is the Judge an expert motorcyclist?
Mr Bennett didn't injure anyone or caused any damage.
