After reading your article in last weeks MCN about John Bloor, it got me thinking. In these days when it seems that any Tom, Dick or Harry gets a MBE or OBE or whatever, how come John Bloor hasn't been honoured yet?
John Bloor has single handedly taken the once great British motorcycle industry from its cremated ashes, literally, to be once again a major world force. He has resurrected Triumph and beaten the Japanese, Germans, Americans et al, at their own game and produced amongst others the best supersport bike out there, and we can all again look at Triumph as a great British success.
If anyone deserves a medal for services to his country and industry, he does! So come on MCN why not start a campaign to get John Bloor rewarded for making us all once again proud to be British.
